Instructions:
When using that square character [  ](CTRL+Backspace, or ALT+0127 on the number pad) in a message, you, and bots, will see it, but other Starcraft players will not. If you join a channel or game containing the character, your friends will see a blank line in their friends list. I guess if you're looking for privacy, go ahead. :P
